10 things you should know about a deck of cards

Below is a list of things that one should know about a deck/pack of cards:

1. There are 52 cards in a single pack of cards.
2. The 52 cards are divided into four groups of 13 cards each.
3. These groups of 13 cards each are known as Suits.
4. There are 4 suits, two black and two red suits.
5. The four suits are Spades, Hearts, Diamonds and Clubs.
6. The Spades and Clubs are black suits and Hearts and Diamonds are Red Suits
7. The 13 cards usually go in this order: Ace 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, Jack, Queen and King.
8. In some games, Ace is made the highest card (even higher than the King).
9. There are also two jokers in each pack of cards, but these are used only in certain games. These jokers are also called as the printed jokers.
10. The value of the Joker varies according to the game and its rules – it may be the wildcard, highest card or the lowest card.
